ABOUT MOKA

Overview
Founded by a group of concerned parents and citizens in 1978, MOKA has grown into a regional leader in the field of disabilities in western Michigan. MOKA provides supports and services to over 650 individuals annually.

MOKA Foundation

Created recently, the MOKA Foundation serves as a way for the community to be more involved in the activities and development of the agency.

Scope
Supports, service and housing are provided primarily in a four county area in western Michigan--Muskegon, Ottawa, Kent and Allegan Counties. Expansion beyond those four counties is occuring based on significant demand.

Quality Staff

One of the keys to our success has been the ability to attract and retain quality staff members. All staff are thoroughly screened through a battery of seven tools including: drug testing, driver's record clearance, criminal record clearance, recipient rights review, etc.

Community Partners
We are grateful for the supportive funding agencies which we consider our partners in the fulfillment of our mission.
