How do I qualify for services?
The majority of our services are funded through Medicaid. The first step is to contact your local Community Mental Health agency in the county where you reside, where they will confirm or help you apply for Medicaid eligibility and assess your needs for services. What if I don’t reside in the MOKA four-county area?
We accept referrals from outside our four-county area. If you are interested in referring a person to a specific MOKA program, please email info@moka.org for guidance.
How do I get involved?
The Foundation offers a number of opportunities to get involved with our organizations through donation acceptance, volunteer opportunities, public events, and our Partnership Council. Please visit https://www.moka.org/moka-foundation/ for more information on how you can become involved!
How can I donate?
The MOKA Foundation is grateful to accept both gift-in-kind and monetary donations. Monetary donations can be made directly on our website using a credit or debit card, direct deposit, and Google Pay. MOKA also accepts monetary donations in the form of a check mailed to our main office: 715 Terrace St Suite 201, Muskegon, MI 49440. Please contact the Development Department at development@moka.org to discuss gift-in-kind donations prior to drop off.
